Tawazon World

TAWAZON’s projects span a broad range of activities that focus on sociocultural, educational, economic and environmental projects.

Through its projects, TAWAZON's objective is to empower the most deprived families in Lebanon (especially during the economic meltdown and following the tragic explosion of Aug 4th) to live in dignity and leading them to self-sufficiency.

This project aims at “facelifting” rundown neighborhood.
Plant a Tree

Plant a Tree

This project aims at encouraging reforestation in collaboration with municipalities, local NGOs, and communities countrywide.
Water Preservation Project

Water Preservation Project

Wherever possible, educate people about collecting rainwater from rooftops to be used for irrigation and household cleaning. Educate people about the importance of water preservation and avoid squandering or wasting water.
Recycling

Recycling

TAWAZON launched an environmental initiative entitled “hibbo ma3na”, in collaboration with Sukleen, in January 2015, aiming at stimulating the neighborhoods, schools, organizations and businesses of its centers to begin sorting solid wastes (non-organic).
